New Moon

So I was reading Eat, Pray, Love. I just thought boring, I had to read New Moon! I finished New Moon!!! OMGoodness. It's so addicting I had to read it til it was done! I'm afraid to get Eclipse, cuz that's all I'll do all day is read!!!! lol. So Nis and I went to Costco and bought the rest of the books, cheaper than Walmart, if anyone decides to read them. I thought Twilight was better and I'm looking forward to reading Eclipse and the fourth book. She writes the book where it's so gripping you can't get enough. It's an awesome series and I can see why it's a worldwide Bestseller. Now I'm torn, Jake or Edward? lol.

I give Twilight 4 stars ****

I finished the novel Twilight by Stephanie Myers this morning at 1:20 am. It's a good thing I don't have the kids this month, I've caught up with some reading, which I enjoy. The book it wasn't too appealing knowing it was about vampires. Thanks to Milika, she encouraged me to read it, I'm always looking for new books to read. I liked it. I can't wait to get the 2nd book today at the library, I hope it's there. I loved Edward, he was so mysterious and intense. I love novels with romance and a hint of suspense! I even went on Youtube to learn more about the author. One interview they asked her where she was inspired to write of the romance between Bella and Edward. She said some from her own experience but mostly from Jane Austen's Darcy & Lizzie. A woman after my own heart. No wonder I liked the book, I love romance but especially the longing which I found with Edward and Bella and that's why I love Jane Austen and some Bollywood movies. lol! I can't wait for the movie!!!!! Muwahahahaha!!!!!!!!! lol. I'm on to Eat, Pray, Love!!! Here's to reading, I love it.

Family & Barbeque's!

Gotta love it!!! Tonite we hung out with the Mckenzie's and barbequed. Brian is from the South and made the best barbeque pork, beans and the homemade macaroni and cheese, to die for. Kolei marinated chicken and we were in heaven. I didn't do too great being on WW, even when I brought the Asian salad, oh well this was definitely a free day! I tasted Kim Chee on rice for the first time it was goooood if you like pickled like cabbage. Nisi made awesome blondie brownies, yum and so chewy. Yeah, I had to talk about the food. Good food and good company, who can ask for anything more?

The Hills are ALIVE....with the sound of MUSIC aah aah aahhhhh

Last night we went to Tuacahn and watched The Sound of Music! Rox came down and bought us tickets. It was just gorgeous. The backdrop were Red Rocks all around and just out in nature. I sat there enjoying the view and said to myself, this is why I live in St George. It was my first time there and I will definitely go again. Rox and I sang along with all the songs, being goofy! The woman who played Maria had a beautiful voice and Rolf's voice was my other favorite. Rox almost got attacked by this huge moth, I'm not exaggerating. Too funny! We then went and hung out in their RV and had con Platos! I hope that's right Rox? We watched MJ hits on DVD and laughed, danced and sang. It was hilarious, why go to the club when you can hang out at the RV diner!!!! lol. I enjoyed myself and we are so doing this again, for sure in Oct same place, same time....cuz, this is thrilla, thriller night!!!!! lol.

Tennis ANYONE????

My dad loves tennis! This past trip he brought us tennis rackets because Seti and Kolei's kids are starting to take up tennis. We've been or more I've enjoyed it more than them. My dad would literally take my brother & I every day when we were young to the park so he can play tennis. My mom worked swing so we had no choice in the matter. I think that's why before my kids came along I couldn't stand parks. We would go 5-til the sun went down while my dad played with his tennis buddies. Anyways, now I'm playing and I'm addicted I go almost every day or other day at night at the Dixie College where the lights stay on. My partners are my kids, Salote Mckenzie and Nisi. I'm addicted! I have never sweated so much and moving every body part. The sweating comes from 90 degree weather at night here in St George, when it's cool! lol. Learning to deal with the heat, I've become a nite owl! Anywhoo...why didn't my dad teach me tennis is what I'm wondering. I told Lote we need to take tennis lessons and someday play the Senior games here when we get good!!! (LMBO!!!!)
